The Brief: Provide copy for one landing page promoting the Cheetos University Giveaway. The landing page is intended to embrace the Cheetos brand, communicate the prize and entry deadline, and capture contact information for each entrant in a form.

The Desired Outcome: Enter the contest by submitting a name, email address, and phone number. Share this contest with friends, using the Facebook and email icons that are linked accordingly.

The Brand Voice: Bold, fun, exciting, sassy/saucy/cheeky, promotional, urgent

The Solution: I leaned into the Gen Z/Gen Alpha lingo for this contest landing page, using colloquialisms like “squad,” and “periodt.” Because the Cheetos brand can be occasionally irreverent, I added tongue-in-cheek testimonials that will grab the attention of college students. The intended demographic enjoys having snacks while being social at school, so the fun, promotional tone aims to engage students in this giveaway, urging them to enter before the deadline as well as share the contest with their friends. The design uses fun, college-themed fonts, bright Cheetos brand colors, and I was direct in my copy to reflect the trend market of the target audience.
